So, for the month of November, SU is offering FREE shipping to Canada... LOVE that, eh?? My Christmas gift to all of you... an additional 10% off your order, if you place your order by Sunday, Nov. 25. WOO HOO!!! YAY sales!! (sorry, Canadian orders only)
Oh, and did you think I'd fallen off the face of the earth?? I felt like I did!! Want to see what I've been doing?? (I'm gonna show you anyway, so you might as well say yes, Heather, we really want to see... please, please, please show us!!) SO... I've been busy making these awesome little 'gift bags'... I'll even show you how I did it!!
You need a 12x12 sheet of paper, and a bone folder REALLY helps, and score 2 ends at 1 inch, and score down the middle at 6 inches.
Then turn the page 90 degrees, and score at 3 1/4 from each end.
Stick down the 1 inch border on each end.
Turn the page 90 degrees, and fold the 3 1/4 inch scores towards the middle, and adhere the seam together.
Fold the middle score line, so that the 'good' side (the one without the seam) is on the INSIDE.
Then fold one side back onto itself, and line up the other side so that the tops are even.
Stick the 2 sides together, and embellish as desired!!! VOILA!!! You've made a really cool double pocket bag!! HOW COOL IS THAT???? This idea isn't mine, but I did change the scoring dimensions a bit, so that the bag was a bit bigger... you could also just make a 1/2 inch border at the top of the bag, but then you don't get to see as much of the pretty 2 sided paper!!

I love this project. I am always on the lookout for new paper crafting ideas.
Great job and I love your site.
